He attentively listens to your questions, concerns, and any possible fears. He has a detailed plan for your aftercare plan. His office staff is so friendly, kind and supportive. He makes himself always available for any followup needs or questions. His office is immaculate. My mother, (86 years young) needed dental surgery, and Dr. Akber Ali DMD, DM of POMS was referred by her regular dentist. Being a first time patient, of Dr. Ali, we were not sure what to expect, but from our very first visit to the office for a consultation, we couldn’t have been more pleased… The entire staff, starting with Melanie, (patient coordinator) and Jacquline, (office manager) at the front desk, Alexis and Cate, (surgical assistants), Dr. Aaron L Roberts (anesthesiologist) and of course, Dr. Ali himself, were all super friendly, and welcoming. Their many genuine smiles really helped to put my mother at ease. During our experience, the staff was very knowledgeable with questions we had; whether it was about the paperwork we were filling out or what we were to expect before and after surgery. I was very impressed by the constant phone communication during the entire process. No matter who I spoke to on the phone with my questions or concerns, they were always well versed with my mother’s planned surgery. The communication between the staff, is quite impressive!!! Dr. Ali has a wonderful bedside manner, and is a true professional. He was wonderful with explaining what the surgery would entail, and what to possibly expect during and after the procedure. On the day of surgery, there were no surprises. The doctor and his staff worked as a unison team. The surgery was followed up with phone calls to our home, to see how my mother was doing. Even the doctor himself called!!! Without hesitation, I would highly recommend POMS, (Precision Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery) to my family and friends. Friendly, warm and on point! My mom is 86. So when we found she had an impacted and infected wisdom tooth, the type of surgery concerned us. The staff here were so informative and concerned for her well being. Dr. Akber came out to allay my last minute concerns with a wonderful bedside manner. I knew she was in good hands.
