I have avoided oral procedures out of fear. However a broken tooth brought a nasty infection that needed an emergency extraction. My dentist called Dr. PIERSE, after hours and they rushed me in to the office and Pierse and his team were able to get out. From the sweet receptionist, to his amazing financial gal, to his amazing assistant Alexis....this made my scary trip just a place of comfort. I can't thank Pierse enough for how gentle he was and his bedside manner. Can I give 10 stars instead of 5?

My mother flew into town and was experiencing a lot of pain in three old wisdom teeth. They needed to be removed. We were blown away by Dr. Pierse and his staff. He was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions and concerns. They were all able to help get my mom in for surgery ASAP since we were due to travel again to our family reunion soon and she needed time to heal. My mom felt heard, understood, and very well cared for (Which for her personality is a massive undertaking for someone to achieve lol). They were very kind and patient with her even when she got super anxious and upset about it all. He called us personally to check up on her the night after her surgery and he made sure he answered any of our questions and concerns. We are so very thankful to Dr. Pierse and his staff!

Absolutely amazing! I had my original consultation where I was treated amazingly by staff. Staff and Dr. Pierse took a while to educate me on tooth removal, their planned process to assist with my specific dental concerns, and calm my nerves. I had an extreme amount of fear due to this being my first time going under. They followed up with me before surgery and I greatly appreciated it. Surgery day I was in and out fast. They will cover you partially with a nice fluffy blanket and will talk you through everything. My worries quickly faded away and before I knew it my surgery was over. For anyone who is worried about it, you will be in great hands. They will follow up with you after your surgery and make sure you are doing well. This place has been nothing but incredible. I was referred to POMS by my amazing dentist (Dr. Salinas at Compassion dentistry) and it’s no surprise the professionals at POMS are just as incredible. I had a consultation to get all four wisdom teeth removed about a week ago and I immediately felt at home when I walked in. Everyone is so friendly and helpful, I felt so comfortable, it really felt like I was getting seen by a couple of old friends. Dr Pierce is definitely a people person, he told me he treats all his patients as if he were treating his wife and children and he truly made me feel like family. All my questions and concerns were answered. Today I had my wisdom teeth removed as well as a frenectomy. I was incredibly nervous and anxious due to all the risks that come with both surgeries but everyone from the front desk to the patient room made me feel better and reassured me I’d be fine. The surgery went well and it felt like it only took 15 mins. Huge thanks to Alexis for being so darn cool and sweet to me, and huge thanks to Dr Pierce for calling to check on me. Thank you everyone at POMS for treating me so well and making me feel so comfortable in a scary situation. I 110% recommend this place to anyone looking to find the perfect oral surgeon.
